Welcome to The University of Lincoln Health Service
Welcome to the University of Lincoln Health Service (ULHS).
The GP practice specialises in looking after the students and staff of The University of Lincoln, their families and dependants.
Our dedicated team are here to treat those minor ailments that occur as well as providing specialist management of
long-term conditions and clinics covering a wide range of healthcare issues.
Our goal is for healthcare professionals and patients to work together to ensure the most appropriate care is provided.
The practice welcomes feedback and this shapes the care provided to the needs of our patient population.

IMPORTANT SERVICE UPDATE 26/04/22
On Wednesday 27th April, the University of Lincoln Health Service is merging with Portland Medical Practice. As the clinical computer systems merge, there will be a disruption to service as follows;
- eConsult, online registrations and online services will not be available from 12 noon on Wednesday for approximately 48 hours.
- We will be available by phone but will have little to no access to patients medical records
- If you require medical assistance during this time, please consider contacting a pharmacy, NHS 111 online or the Out of Hours GP service (by ringing 111)
We expect service to be back to normal by midday Thursday 28th April.
Thank you for your patience during this process.
Medication Requests update
As of 7th March 2022, we will no longer be accepting medication requests over the phone unless it is deemed as urgent (for example you have less than 3 days of medication left). This is in order to free up the phone lines for appointment bookings. Therefore you can now order in the following ways:
- If urgent, please contact us on 01522 870 010 after 11:30am
- If non-urgent, please attend the surgery, complete a medication request slip and submit this to the prescriptions box
- Alternatively, if your request is non-urgent, you can complete an eConsult to request your medication or if your medication is on repeat, you can request it through the NHS app.
Important Covid-19 Update (15/07/21)
While we understand that national guidance around the legally-enforced use of face coverings is due to change on the 19th July, we ask that patients entering the practice please continue to wear a face covering if they are able to. This is to help us protect any potentially vulnerable patients who may be in the practice, particularly due to the confined space and ventilation available at the practice.
The team at the University of Lincoln Health Service would like to send our support and best wishes to all those affected by the current Coronavirus situation.
For the latest information from the practice regarding Covid-19 please click here to visit our dedicated Covid-19 page. Please do not ring the practice regarding Covid-19 vaccinations.
Due to current staff shortages, we have had to limit the availability of eConsult to the following hours;
- 7:00 - 12:00 Monday to Friday
We do apologise for any inconvenience caused. This is a temporary measure and will be reviewed on a weekly basis.
Please do not register without your full Lincoln address, this includes flat name/number.
Without a full address we will not be able to register you.
